This 3-story museum was inaugurated in 1997 and has 72 galleries that have temporary and permanent exhibitions. The art pieces featured in this museum primarily focus on Arabian culture and heritage from local and foreign artists.

Central Market Sharjah/ Sharjah Blue Souk
The Central Market, also known as the Blue Souk, is the most popular part of Sharjah City. The outside walls of this traditional Arabian shopping center are decorated with blue tiles. The blue walls are why this shopping center is known as Blue Souk.
There are more than 600 stores in this traditional market where you can find all kinds of products, including gold, clothes, perfume, etc., but it’s primarily famous for carpet and gold.
The Blue Market is a perfect place for purchasing souvenirs and gifts. You can finish your tour by drinking traditional tea or coffee at this shopping center’s coffee shops.

Sharjah Fort (Al Hisn)
Sharjah Fort was built in 1820 by the ruler of Sharjah at that time, Sheikh Sultan Bin Saqr. From there, you can go on top of the Sharjah Fort and see the entire city and parts of the Persian Gulf.
