Wintastar, reportedly the largest indoor ski resort in the world, is located in Lingang City in Shanghai’s Pudong New Area and spans an area of about 227,000 square meters (ten city blocks). Singapore’s KOP Limited will participate in developing this indoor skiing area and manage it with Ski Dubai from Majid Al Futtaim. The indoor ski resort is scheduled to open in late 2022.

Lin’an Damingshan Wansongling Ski Resort

The largest ski resort in Eastern China is called Lin’an Damingshan Wansongling Ski Resort, which is located behind Daming Lake in the expansive Lin’an Daming Mountain Scenic Area and is about 412 hours’ drive from Shanghai and 212 hours’ drive from Hangzhou

The ski resort is divided into two main areas: the relaxation area, which is itself large and covers an area of about 10,000 square meters, provides opportunities for traditional winter activities like building snowmen and having snowball fights.

An’ji Jiangnan Tianchi Ski Resort

Anji Jiangnan Tianchi Ski Site, which is 900 meters (3,000 feet) above sea level and situated in the Jiangnan Tianchi Scenic Area, in the county of Anji, known for its bamboo forests, is just 20 kilometres (12 miles) from the city of Anji, two and a half hours by car from Hangzhou, and four hours from Shanghai.
