Kasem Kasemkietsakul, a guy who traveled much for both business and pleasure and had a deep interest in architecture, founded Mini Siam in 1986. He was so interested in creating a world of his own that Mini Siam & Mini Europe was established in Pattaya as a tourism destination with an educational appeal.
Mini Siam is a collection of more than 100 miniature maquettes of the most famous buildings in the world. There are replicas of both modern and historical places from all over the world in Mini Siam. The main purpose of this exhibition park was to showcase the beauty of Thailand and world in a bigger picture. Several Thai artists gathered around to create replicas of all the famous buildings, sites, and complexes in the world and Thailand.
The fourth biggest miniature landscape in the world is Mini Siam. This is the pinnacle of Thailand’s tourist destinations. There are more than 100 modest buildings on exhibit, covering Thailand’s topography and natural environment, including mountains, rivers, waterfalls, railroads, and the country’s 72 prefectures of historical sites, in addition to 80 picturesque areas in the park that showcase many notable cultural and historical structures in Thailand. 1:25 is the ratio between the landscape and the actual item.
The Architecture of Mini Siam
Two areas of a 4.5-hectare park or garden, called Mini Siam and Mini Europe, display small maquettes of well-known sights and historically significant structures in Thailand, Europe, and other parts of the world. You can take a quick look at world-famous sites, including historic sites and wonders of the world. Mini Siam is an exhibition, a park, and a museum at the same time. The park has two main parts that we already mentioned, Mini Siam and Mini Europe. Mini Europe is where famous worldwide sites’ maquettes are displayed. Mini Siam and Mini Europe are separated by a river.
There are also a few smaller replicas of iconic landmarks in other nations, like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe in France, the Colosseum, the Statue of Liberty in the United States, the Leaning Tower of Pisa in Italy, and the Cologne Cathedral in Germany. Most people don’t get the opportunity to explore all the famous buildings and complexes in the world. Mini Siam gives you the opportunity to take a look at all these famous places and see a miniature version of them.
